bpr architects supported c2c rail in the development of a new concept for their booking hall and station refurbishment projects. Our concept for the 'Smart Wall' brings together passenger services that are built into a co-ordinated wall, branded to suit the train operating company. The open ticket desk is designed to integrate with the Smart Wall, and provide a welcoming service desk that offers a friendly and supportive customer service. Thorpe Bay has been delivered to set an example and to test the concept before it is implemented across the c2c network. The project has received significant support from both passengers and staff since it opened in June 2012.
