We are very pleased to announce that BPR has become an Employee Owned company. All our shares are now held in trust and as such all staff will share ownership of the business through a structured system of management groups. Director Graham Wilson said, “This move represents both a significant investment by the Practice in its staff, and the positive commitment of colleagues toward the future of bpr for many years to come.”
BPR has always maintained a culture of support and collaboration and the transition to Employee Ownership has been very natural for the team. With every member of staff now being committed to our future, we are looking forward to a strong period of success built on our expertise in Higher Education, Transport and Regeneration.
"Employee ownership is the fastest growing form of business in the UK. The facts speak for themselves, organisations adopting this model achieve greater productivity and innovation. In addition, we have seen that there is also the added advantage of greater resilience to economic turbulence. I am delighted that BPR have chosen to become employee owned and that the EOA has been able to help them along this journey.” Iain Hasdell, Chief Executive of The Employee Ownership Association
Paul Beaty-Pownall, Director at BPR Architects Ltd added “the transition to Employee Ownership marks a major moment in the history of the practice. BPR now has a mature structure that is ready for a very exciting year ahead. Employee Ownership will ensure that our work, that relies on proactive staff who are passionate about good design, will continue to grow from strength to strength”
